Quilt 114 - At the beach

 This quilt was made as the annual retreat challenge for my quilt group Telequilters.  Attendees had to make any patchwork item, based around the theme 'birds'.  This was my entry.  I started with the idea of the beach boxes (at the bottom), and then added the sand, sea and sky levels.  The quilt was made using fabrics donated by St Vincents Op Shop Alstonville.  I'm really happy with the result, this quilt will be donated to Quilts4Kids.

Quilt 113 - Baby Chevrons

 I love a simple half-square triangle quilt patterned as chevrons.  This quilt was made using fabrics donated by St Vincents Op Shop Alstonville, and will be donated to Quilts4Kids

Quilt 112 - Floral X

 This quilt was a challenge as part of my quilt group Telequilters.  It was a 'rip challenge', where you started off with half a metre of your own fabric, ripped it in half and passed half along to the next person.  That was repeated until each person had about 6-7 different fabrics.  You then had to make a quilt using those fabrics.  I based my quilt on Bonnie Hunter's 'String X' pattern (https://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/string-x.html).  The finished quilt will be donated to Quilts4Kids.
