Quilt 47 - Climbing Clematis

This quilt was made from a paper-piecing pattern found in Joen Wolfrom's book 'A Garden Party of Quilts', which is a much-loved Christmas present.  The pattern is called 'Climbing Clematis'.  The quilt in the book is based on a lovely purple/green colour scheme, but as I was working from offcut fabrics donated St Vinnies Alstonville I changed the colour scheme to crimsons and reds and I am really happy with the result.  This quilt will be donated to Quilts 4 Kids.

Quilt 46 - Star Struck

I have long been an admirer of Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville (see http://quiltville.com/).  This pattern 'Star Struck' is a free pattern from her blog (see http://quiltville.blogspot.com.au/p/free-patterns.html).  I changed the colour scheme to blacks/dark pinks with a purple accent, with a scrappy border.  This quilt was made from fabrics donated by St Vinnies Alstonville and will be donated to Quilts 4 Kids.

Quilt 45 - Quilts of Love

I was sorting through the wonderful fabric donations from St Vinnies Alstonville recently, and found a nearly-completed quilt top.  It was a small, doll-size quilt, so I have added a flannel backing and binding and this beautiful quilt is now ready to be donated to Quilts of Love.

Quilts 43 and 44 - Quilts of Love

These two quilts have been made with fabric donated by St Vinnies Alstonville.  Both quilts will be donated to Quilts of Love.  Quilts of Love is a project run through the maternity section of Lismore Base Hospital, which provides a small quilt to parents in the dire situation of losing a baby pre-term or at childbirth.

Quilt 42 - Eye Spy

Here is the first 'eye spy' quilt I've made.  It was made for Quilts 4 Kids using fabrics donated by the St Vincent's Op Shop in Alstonville.
