Quilt 106 - Halloween

I bought some Halloween fabrics on sale at Spotlight years ago.  I then meant to make a table runner each successive year but always remembered too late for Halloween.  But in 2019 I finally did it, and got my table runner made in time to put out for Halloween.

Quilt 105 - Circle pizzazz

My sister went to Japan a few years ago, and brought me back a range of beautiful Japanese fabrics.  I made this quilt from them, supplemented by a few extra fabrics sourced from Spotlight.  The pattern is from a book called 'Circle Pizzazz' by Judy Sisneros.

Quilt 104 - Tumbleweeds

This quilt was a long time in the making, as I sewed the individual blocks together as placeholders on my machine between sewing other projects.  I aimed to pick fabrics with a calming tone and I'm really happy with the result.  The quilting pattern is called 'Baptist Fans'.  The pattern design is 'Sharing Thimbles' by Edyta Sitar, from her book Friendship Strips & Scraps.

Quilt 103 - Initial quilt

In my quilt group, when you reach a milestone birthday the other members make blocks with your initial embroidered on it.  You then get the blocks and decide what you want to make them into (unless it is an 'advanced' milestone birthday, and then the quilt group will make you a quilt out of them).  For my 40th, I received a set of beautiful initial blocks, and I have made this lap quilt with them.
