Quilt 3 - Christmas Stars

This is the third quilt I ever made. I designed it and it was inspired by a cute country star with check fabric that I saw in a magazine. I think I made this around 2005/2006. I especially love the red cardinal star centres and the border print.

Quilt 2 - Green Squares

This is the second quilt I made. Very basic, but a nice puffy wadding that makes it great for curling up on the lounge.

Lola

This is my sister's pet cockatiel Lola. Lola was only 12 weeks old when we got her last Christmas Eve. As you can see from the photo, she got quite attached to our (fake) Christmas tree.

Looking Back - Foster Dog #4 (Fella)

Here is the last in the series of previous foster dogs. This is Fella, who was our fourth foster dog. Fella was a good dog but wanted to be the top dog all the time, which caused some tension in the backyard dynamics with Honey. Fella has now found his permanent home, where I believe there is a more dominant dog than him and he has learnt that being top dog isn't always necessary.

Looking back - Foster Dog #3 (Sandy)

This is my next installment of reminiscing about our previous foster dogs. Meet Sandy, who was our third foster dog. Sandy (we think) was a cross between a daschund and a rhodesian ridgeback. She was small, but had a definite ridge going on. A lovely little dog who I trust is doing well in her new home.

Looking Back - Foster Dog #2 (Artie)

I want to put photos of all our past foster dogs on the blog. Here are some photos of Artie, who was our second foster dog. He was bigger than Honey, but a total gentle giant and lots of fun to have at our house. Artie was adopted by a family who lived on a farm and who kept goats, so I think Artie had a world of fun ahead of him.
