Quilt 11 - Mum's Scrappy Stars quilt

This quilt was made by hand (including the quilting) for my Mum and Dad's room.  The quilt was made in a 'controlled' scraps theme.  Some of the fabrics are quite sentimental, as they included fabrics from the first quilt I made and also the quilt I made for my brother's wedding.

Quilt 10 - Scrappy Stars

This is a pattern I made up myself, to use up some scrap fabrics I had.   I love making scrappy quilts, so this was lots of fun.  The quilting design was a free motion camelia pattern.  The quilt was donated to Lismore Base Hospital.

Quilt 9 - Green Oklahoma backroads

I made this quilt from the free pattern at Quiltville (see http://quiltville.blogspot.com.au/2005/06/oklahoma-backroads.html ).

I used more 'controlled' colours, but still with scrap fabrics.  The quilt was donated to Lismore Base Hospital

Quilt 8 - Agi's quilt

Agi is Marnie's little sister (see Quilt 7).  When Agi was born in December 2008, I made quilts for both Agi and Marnie.  I wasn't sure if Agi was going to be a boy or a girl, so I made the quilt unisex and finished it by adding Agi's name (Agnes) on when she was born.  Lots of farm animals featured, to go with the farm Agi is growing up on.

Quilt 7 - Marnie's quilt

Ths is a quilt I made for Marnie, a little friend of mine, a few years ago.  Marnie is a farm girl, and I was inspired to make her an applique quilt featuring some of the animals on her farm, including Ces the dog, Diesel the horse and Tucker the cow.
