This quilt was commissioned by my friend Margaret as a present for her dad for Fathers Day 2014. I have just finished the quilt in time (end of August 2014). Margaret chose the design from a few I suggested, and we either discussed fabrics or bought them together. It was a lovely project and I am very pleased to help Margaret create a gift for her dad.

Quilt 36 - Collaborative art piece
My sister Jen made me this beautiful cross stitch as a present. I hand-made the patchwork border to finish it off, so we refer to it as our 'collaborative art piece'. It was displayed at the 2014 Airing of the Quilts at Alstonville, and the photo is of Jen and I next to it during the Airing.
Quilt 35 - Mitchell's quilt hangings
Louise from work was having her first baby, and mentioned they were doing a bit of a jungle them in the baby nursery. I made these wall hangings for the baby, who is a little boy named Mitchell.
Quilt 34 - Isobel's quilt
My sister Jen is little Isobel's mentor. Jen commissioned this quilt for Isobel's naming ceremony, which was just after Isobel's first birthday.
Quilt 33 - Bricks and Stepping Stones
This pattern is from Bonnie Hunter's Quiltville website. The fabrics were donated by St Vinnies Alstonville, and this quilt will be donated to Quilts 4 Kids
Quilt 32 - Little Boxes
This 'Little Boxes' pattern was done by our Telequilters group as a workshop. I used fabrics donated by St Vinnies Alstonville, and this quilt will be donated to Quilts 4 Kids.
Quilt 31 - Marcia quilt
My friend Marcia was in my quilt group. She passed away from cancer in 2012. Marcia gave me a copy of this quilt pattern, so I've called it my 'Marcia quilt'. I took the opportunity on this quilt to do some fancier quilting in the white blocks, and was pretty happy with how it turned out.
