Here is our current foster dog Turtle. Not sure if she was named on purpose, but she is really shy and hardly sticks her head out. However, she is very sweet and is responding well to attention from both people and her foster dog sister Honey, who is teaching her by example how to walk on a lead and sit before being fed. Turtle has such a lovely nature, I would be surprised if she doesn't find her new permanent home soon.

Quilt 5 - Double Wedding Ring quilt
I made this quilt for my brother's wedding on 10 May 2008. It's a traditional double wedding ring quilt and the pattern includes lots of symbolism: the two colours represent the two individuals getting married, the various shades symbolise the changing state of married life, and the intertwined circles resemble wedding rings.
This quilt was completely hand-stitched.

Foster Dog #10 - Sally
This is Sally, who was our 10th foster dog. Sally stayed with us last week, and is now staying with another new NRAS carer. Sally is still available for adoption, and her NRAS profile page can be found at http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/84907
