Quilt 5 - Double Wedding Ring quilt

I made this quilt for my brother's wedding on 10 May 2008. It's a traditional double wedding ring quilt and the pattern includes lots of symbolism: the two colours represent the two individuals getting married, the various shades symbolise the changing state of married life, and the intertwined circles resemble wedding rings.

This quilt was completely hand-stitched.

This is Sally, who just arrived today. She's about 6 months old, some sort of retriever mix. A very sweet dog who is a delight to look after

Foster Dog #11 - Laura

We have just looked after our 11th foster dog - Laura. She was 4 months old and we're told she is an Australian Shepherd cross? We had Laura for less than 24 hours before she found a new home with a lovely family.

Foster Dog #10 - Sally

This is Sally, who was our 10th foster dog. Sally stayed with us last week, and is now staying with another new NRAS carer. Sally is still available for adoption, and her NRAS profile page can be found at http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/84907

Honey

Here is a picture that my sister took of her dog Honey - one of my favourite shots of her, that I just had to share.

Foster Dog #9 - Baxter

This is Baxter, who joined us last Friday.

He is an 18 month old male labrador and a real gentle giant. He is a little overweight at the moment so Baxter will be having a diet and exercise regime while he's staying at our house.
